How to Apply

The Rheumatology Fellowship program participates in the NRMP fellowship match, and accepts applications from residents entering their final year of training through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Interviews will take place between September and November and match results will be available December. Fellowship training will begin the following July. New this year - we are offering travel awards for first or second year residents with an interest in NIH rheumatology training opportunities to visit the NIH research campus during the NIH research festival, in October 2014. Awardees will receive travel and lodging support, and will have an opportunity to present their prior or current research projects, hear about some of the great research going on at the NIH, learn more about training in rheumatology at NIH, and receive career guidance for those interested in becoming physician-scientists or clinical researchers. Interested residents should contact our program coordinator Sharon Hines, to apply. The application deadline is August 1, 2014
